Love these dresses! Beautiful draping and beautiful textures make these dresses perfect for any occasion. After helping my cousin pick out her perfect wedding dress, I am now obsessed with the reception dress.
I now have a crush on designer Sarah Seven.
Found on Etsy by way of Oh Joy!

Happy New Years! PS- don't join a cult
I really am tempted to buy this Snuggie, but I am afraid I will have to pray in groups and drink the Kool Aid! But I would be warm…..
Only in America
Finally the dreams of millions of fat Americans will be answered.
Burger King now has a Whopper scented fragrance for men FLAME!

What the HEllO Kitty!?
I am shocked! A Maternity hospital in Taiwan is completely Hello Kitty-themed, from the bed pan to the birth certificate. The hospital is doing surprisingly well during the current financial crisis and retains a constant flow of business. At first it seems like a fun idea but I can’t help but sympathize with the expectant fathers- you better hope you are having a girl. I discovered this...
IM BACK!!!
It took me a while to figure out various job positions and life went a little crazy, but now I am ready to devote the needed love and care to my favorite project.
COLOR ENVY:)
My most favorite design at the moment is the new Obama Christmas/ Inauguration Day holiday shirt, and card.

From Iceland with Love
By way of earth friendly weddings I have found my new obsession, Icelandic product designer Hafsteinn Juliusson has created the perfect piece of jewelry for the nurturing soul. Flowers make me feel like I can take care of something without having to clean up its poo, and having a little piece of nature with me all day would brighten my spirits. Now if only I could travel to Iceland this...
Happy -1 Anniversary Alison and Nick!
My most favorites are getting married one year from today so it is their -1 year anniversary to the big day! My dearest friend Alison is one of the most stylish women I know. And being slightly involved in helping her plan her wedding is such an honor. Today is dedicated to all style all Alison!
Her fabulous blog Taxidermy Church Wedding is also a must read!
She is getting married in her home town...
Volksfaden
I am now a huge fan of Volksfaden because of their bright collection of fabric. I am so attracted to the bold colors and vintage inspired designs. The creator Linda felt the need to provide quilters with fun new patterns. And now I am a happy girl!
Lazy Love
This mug found on etsy has very special meaning to me, being I am part sloth. I need it in my life!
The idiots guide to printmaking
I think this idea from Craft Chi, is really unique and the easiest way to create a large pattern print. I am dying to try it out. Using a rolling pin, cork board with contact paper or adhesive foam paper, and sharp knife you can create your own wonderful pattern.
Love this idea because I had it!
I love that this is featured on Apartment Therapy because I had designed a similar formation when we first moved into our apartment.
Now we have a beautiful vintage wine wrack that serves as our bookcase but I love that we were on the right path!
Color Happy Design
The team of Wary Meyers Decorative Arts includes John Meyers- who previously was the corporate display director for Anthropologie Inc- and Linda Wary a graphic designer and freelance art director. They do everything: interiors, paintings, clothing, crests, and have a book. Their use or lush colors and bold design choices make them one of my most favorite design teams.
Above is one of their...
I will take 2 please
This is the most personalized a piece of art work can get. Forget getting your name written with a pretty pen, how about displaying your DNA?
The artists at DNA 11, ask for a saliva sample (they provide the sleek spit case) to complete the piece, and it can be purchased at the Moma Store.
I want to get his and hers prints framed. It probably make our friends want to puke, but I love it!

Crazy Amazing
This designer Sebastoam Brajkovic not only creates new comical shapes with his furniture but his apulstry gives each piece movement. Each looks pulled or stretched, thanks to the lines and shapes he has added.
I discovered them on Design Crisis
Musical Garbage- Why didn't I think of that!
I just found this on the blog notcot and I think it is hysterical. Just in case you really needed a happy tune while you were trashing your leftovers or wanted to work on your sliding scale while you sing and dump!
When the lid is raised it triggers a ball do drop down the xylophone. Designed by Dominic Wilcox .
In the Lead!
She likes this one the best because of the homage to Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). However we would want to brighten it up with more color and a few flower details around the heart maybe in blue. It was also found at worldfolkart.org.
The Quest for the Best
My cousin wants to get a beautiful Mexican inspired tattoo with lots of life and color. So I am on the hunt!
Here are some designs I found so far that have elements I like and can be adapted into a great tattoo.
These two above provide a nice compact punch of color.
In this one I appreciate the bold outline of each flower.
In this last one I would only pick the red heart at the top...
P.S. Baby- Don't Suck
I love these prints of some of my favorite artists. It is refreshing to see baby clothing that isn’t dumbed down for the child. But I hope the little one doesn’t feel too much pressure to be AMAZING.
Above is the Lucy Ball t-shirt and below is a Frida onesie.
They can be found on Reckon’s site
Insanity. I wish I had a huge closet...for many...
This design is the most interesting I have seen in so long, because it is so simple and the best solution to a small apartment. Unless you are claustrophobic!
Designed by James Plant and I discovered it on Apartment Therapy.
Perfect Summer to Fall Dress
This dress by Shoshanna will go fabulously this time of year. Plus I adore Shoshanna because she designs for girls will fuller chests by providing extra lining. The ruching and the sweetheart neckline are extremely flattering for a girl who wants to accentuate her chest as well. If only it was free.
iphone for the naturalist
The already sleek and cool iphone now has a wicked new BFF! The Miniot design I discovered on Design Milk, gives this new trendy gadget a classic vintage feel. The combination of a new technology and the natural wood make a beautiful balance.
If I had enough money, this would be Allen’s!
I wish I smoked more cigars.
This beautiful invitation set from Ceci New York is modeled after a cigar box. They are so intricate and rich. It is amazing that such a masculine hobby has the most delicate and detailed feminine packaging. The color combination is unusual but extremely appealing because of the of the muted green and the vibrancy of the light pink matched by the strong red and blue.
I don't speak Japanese but I wish I did.
I found this vintage Japanese site Aruniko by way of one of my favorite blogs
http://printpattern.blogspot.com/
I understand holding on to vintage cups and patterns but where did they get that Jello?
I want to live in this blue
Flowers are rarely colored green, it is usually reserved for the stem or the leaves. It is so refreshing to see green flower petals.
I am such a sucker for...
I want this in my life!
This Bubble Calendar, I originally found on http://www.poppytalk.blogspot.com/ is the coolest thing in the world. I am afraid however that I will get popper happy and all of a sudden it it will be 2020!
I heart Julia Rothman
I am so in love with Julia Rothman’s work. It is simple, playful, and polished. If I could I would cover my entire house in her prints. One day Julia one day!

My dream Job
I would love love love love to one day work in the style department at Martha Stewart. I am working on my portfolio and hope that I can get an entry level job anywhere in the company.
I have decorated my apartment as a renter- meaning no paint or wallpaper- and it is killing me. This is what I have so far…
